PAYMENT POLICY (per rider)
Deposit - A deposit of 50% per rider is required at the time of reservation.
Final payment - The final payment is due 48 hours prior to the event. If the final payment isn't received by the due date, your reservation may be cancelled, and you may forfeit any funds paid.
Payment methods - Venmo, PayPal or check
CANCELLATION POLICY (per rider)
Plans change, we understand. If you cancel 30 days prior to the event you will receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to the event you will be refunded 75%. If you cancel 14 days to 48 hours prior to the event you will be refunded 25%. No-shows on the day of the event are not eligible for a refund.
In lieu of refunds, credit can be given for a future event to be booked within 90 days of the original event date.
Arizona weather is generally awesome, however should we have to cancel the ride to unforeseen weather conditions, we will provide a full refund or credit for a future event. We may also simply just need to reschedule to later in the day or maybe to the following day if your schedule can accommodate.
Should the weather halt or delay your travel to Arizona, we can discuss rescheduling and refunds.
Thank you for understanding.
RIDE DAY
We will provide a complimentary trail snack, an enthusiastic guide, and as needed, bottled water, backpack, helmet, and gloves. We will carry a basic first aid kit, spare tube, tire pump, items to fix flat tires, and sunscreen.
You will be responsible for your transportation to the trail head.
What you should bring: your bike (unless you need a rental), your regular bike specific shoes (and pedals if using clipless), clothing, helmet, gloves, backpack, sunglasses, medications, electrolyte supplements, food, and water to last the length of the ride. Each rider is responsible to carry their own food and water during the ride.
Depending on the time of the year, desert temperatures can start cool in the morning, but warm up significantly during the day. It’s a good idea to bring layers and a change of clothes for after the ride as you will likely be sweaty and dusty.
Arizona is generally a very dry environment, you should arrive hydrated and not hung over. You must not be under the influence of any alcoholic beverage, drug or medication or have any aliment or condition which affects or impairs balance, vision, coordination or other ability to properly and safely operate a bicycle.
If you are not interested in a guided experience, but would like assistance with mapping out trails, finding places to eat and or accommodations while in town, we can help design for $25 per hour.
If you want an epic multi day package (couple days of riding, places to stay, restaurant suggestions, local places or things to do of interest, etc) let’s talk!
Your Guide
Hi! My name is Missy and I fell in love with mountain biking in 2008. I was so fortunate to find a great group of gals that took me under their wing and taught me how to ride, they have since become dearest of friends. In 2014 I met my rad husband on a trail, during a mountain bike festival in Oakridge, OR. Bikes bring people together!
My desire to ride different trails has taken me to many states (AZ, CA, UT, OR, WA, HI) and countries (Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica). I have participated in 6/8/12 hour races, High Cascades 100, two-day stage race, couple XC race seasons, and even a season of short track. I still occasionally sign up for a race, but it’s for the fun of the event, not so much to actually “race”.
When I am not on the bike or planning rides for us and our friends, I enjoy resistance training in the gym, hiking, pickle ball, yoga, camping, reading, and all things wellness. I am an advocate for dog rescues and love being a mom to Garrett (human son), Charlie (dog son) & Mazy (dog daughter). And of course, partner to Bill (the awesome guy I met on a trail).
I am excited to meet you and design a ride sure to leave you with a big smile!
What People Are Saying
“Missy, thank you for organizing our Lake Tahoe adventures!
Your ability to listen to the group and tailoring rides to our specific needs for the day was amazing. Each day brought on new adventures and challenges that fit our fitness levels and adventure levels. You also brought great energy to our group and your organization led to fun rides and smiles for miles!!! Will definitely be coming back and will recommend you to our friends.”
A happy rider,
— Kim H.
“Missy is incredible when it comes to organizing mountain bike rides. She has so much experience, and her rides are always well-planned, safe, and most importantly, a blast. A memorable ride was when she set up an epic ride in Sedona where we took the Hiline and Hangover trails, which were both challenging and breathtaking. What really stands out about Missy is her sense of humor - she keeps everyone laughing even when the trails get tough, which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. With Missy, you know you’re in for a ride that’s not only well-organized but also filled with good vibes and great company.”
— Amber G.
“Exceptional organization! I appreciated that the trails got progressively more challenging each day and I was able to see different terrain. I also appreciated our phone call ahead of trip & the communication before/during/after the ride. Being a fairly new rider, the coaching was super helpful! I loved all the sessions we had & getting to follow you & watch how you took trails. Your encouragement was really uplifting! Loved riding the Pivot Mach 4SL! “
— JULIA T.
“I’ve had the pleasure of Missy taking me up to Prescott a few times and showing me some amazing trails. I couldn’t have done it without her leadership and choosing the right trail for my riding experience.“
— jayne f.
“I’ve been on several MTB trips with Missy that she planned for a group of at least five of us. She takes great care at picking trails that suit everyone’s abilities and desires. She also plans the food and the fun and ensures we all have a great time!“

BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT ( A HARD COPY ON DAY OF RIDE) YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THE RISKS INHERENT IN MOUNTAIN BIKING AND WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

What features and trails the rider chooses to ride is always at the discretion of the rider, not the mountain bike guide, or anyone else.
I agree and understand that I will be held to assume the risk of all trail conditions, including but not limited to weather conditions, trail layout and construction, hidden or concealed obstacles, and potential collisions with other riders and wildlife. I have the right to stop and visually inspect trail conditions and may choose not to ride sections or features that I consider to be too dangerous, risky or unsafe for a rider of my skill level. I acknowledge that I have all necessary medications or aids that I might require in the event of a known medical issue (such as allergy medications, epi-pens, inhalers, etc.). I acknowledge that I’m not relying on Releasees for medications; and I am not relying on Releasees to provide first-aid or any other medical treatment, and I waive any claim against Releasees to provide medical treatment or care of any kind during the riding. I agree that the Releasees are authorized to obtain medical care for me or to arrange for transportation to a medical facility or hospital if, in the opinion of Releasees, medical attention is needed.
